We’re pleased to announce that we’ve been honored for our business practices, recognized by Salon Today Magazine as one of the top 200 salons in the United States!

Salon Today Magazine editors poured over thousands of applications from salons across the U.S. to select the 200 salons they felt had the best salon management practices that contributed to a strong business. Salons were judged on overall growth and 10 different best practice areas. We were selected this year for our philanthropic work and compensation and benefit practices, making this the fifth year we’ve been honored.

Thanks to our incredible staff and loyal clients for helping us achieve this amazing honor. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Megan stopped by the salon recently to introduce us to the newest member of the Planet Hair family. Charlotte Ann Ardoin was born on November 28^th. A happy, healthy little girl, she was 19 inches long and weighed 7 pounds and 4 ounces. Megan told us that everything is great, Charlotte’s amazing and that she’s making a quick recovery so she can come back soon.

Make the Season Brighter

Have you heard that Operation Holiday has received only 25 percent of the food it needs for its annual donations to families this year?

When we read about this extreme shortage in the December 14^thWichita Eagle we decided to jump into action and see if we can help collect some donations for the more than 14,000 people in need in our community. According to the article, Operation Holiday especially needs money, peanut butter, soup, canned fruits and vegetables, and cereal.

Help us make Christmas just a little brighter for those in need by bringing a donation of cash or food to Planet Hair at 504 E. Douglas between now and December 23^rd and we’ll give you 15 percent off any hair, skin, body, makeup, or gift products.

Michelle Biggans Whisman is Coming Back to Planet Hair!

We just got the word that Michelle Biggans Whisman is coming back to Planet Hair!

It’s been 12 years since Michelle left Planet Hair to start her own salon. Since she left we’ve stayed in touch, and Michelle has continued to help us with fabulous hairstyles for ArtAID. When she let us know she was planning to sell her salon, we offered her a place at Planet Hair right away! We love her work and know you will too.
